Our Story
Middle Man? Never heard of him.
This is the story about how your favorite 4th generation Bad Axe, Michigan farmers opened a farm stand to expedite the farm-to-fork experience.
Sheridan Meat & More is beyond what you, our customers, can expect when visiting a farm store.
If we could coin something as boujie in Agriculture, this would be it.
We at Sheridan Meat & More bring premium products to our Michigan farm stand and marketplace. This isn't your typical farm stand found at the end of a dirt road, Sheridan Meat & More provides you, the food conscious consumer, with all the provisions you’re seeking.
From locally-made milk and cheeses to seasonal produce and top-quality cuts of Waygu, your quest to find farm-fresh food ends here.

Ashley and her husband launched Sheridan Meat & More in 2020, but that is not where the farming history started for the Sheridan Family. The family farm was established in 1963, making the Kennedy's the third generation to tend to the land and care for the livestock, while raising the fourth generation of agriculturalists.
When you shop with Sheridan Meat & More you’re connecting with farmers who are ready to nerd out about how it was all it was made.
To reiterate, our farmers are actual farmers.
Meet Ashley, who you most likely already know from social media, milks 240 head alongside her husband Eric and their youngsters Calli and Adeline. The farm outside Bad Axe also boasts about 600 replacement heifers, 60 steers and 240 acres of corn and hay.
She’s a full-time farmer, full-time mom, and the full-time brains behind Sheridan Meat.

Sustainability: The $10,000 marketing term
Every marketer in the country throws around sustainability like it’s a new fangled discovery.
For us, sustainability means we’re working tirelessly to ensure we’re caring for our animals, land, water, and family in the best possible way. In a way, we’re land farmers. If we don’t prioritize our land then we can’t raise crops, kids, or livestock successfully.
And, if we’re not doing our job well we won’t be able to pass on our farming business to the next generatiton.
We’re proud of our Heritage.
And it’s reflected in everything we do, from our logo to our customer service. While we’re implementing new technologies to ensure we’re caring for all facets of our farm to the best of our ability, how we care is exactly the same as previous generations.
